Please join Secretary Leavitt and SE Wisconsin's business and health care leaders to discuss the Cornerstones of the Secretary's Value-Driven Health Care Initiative:
- Increase Transparency in Pricing
- Increase Transparency in Quality
- Increase Adoption of Health Information Technology (IT) Standards
- Provide Options That Promote Quality and Efficiency in Health Care
The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality is one of only 6 organizations nationally to be designated as a Better Quality Information for Medicare Beneficiaries (BQIMB) Pilot. At this event, the Business Health Care Group will be designated by the Secretary as a 'Community Leader' in implementing Value Driven Health Care.
Leaders of Southeastern Wisconsin businesses and other organizations will be invited to sign a "Statement of Support" for the four cornerstones at the event.
