Bellin Health Escanaba Receives WCHQ Top Quality Honors
Recognized for high performance managing hypertension
The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) will recognize Bellin Health Escanaba as a top performing clinic based on their management of hypertension on July 30.
The honor acknowledges their outstanding efforts in managing blood pressure in the hypertension patient population by hard wiring their interventions into their work. Hypertension, or high blood pressure, can lead to strokes, heart attacks, heart failure or kidney disease.
Gabrielle Rude, Ph.D., director of practice transformation and incoming WCHQ president/CEO, will present the award to Ashley Young, team facilitator, who will accept on behalf of Bellin Health Escanaba.
WCHQ annually honors a select number of member organizations for superior clinical performance and patient outcomes.
“The high level of performance that Bellin Health Escanaba has achieved and sustained means they are committed to providing the best care possible, every time, to every patient,” according to WCHQ President/CEO Chris Queram. “The work that they are doing to attain that level of accomplishment is a testament to their dedication to helping the people in their community live longer, more productive and healthier lives. We are very pleased to honor their commitment and performance.”
WCHQ is dedicated to helping health care professionals improve the quality and affordability of health care through collaboration, sharing best practices, and publicly reporting information that health care organizations can use to benchmark and compare their performance.
